CHEERS TO THE TEARS!
Hello lovelies, I hope you’re doing great because I am here going through twitter for my usual morning dose of laughter and it feels good like always. Anyways, whatever you do today, just be happy.
Hot tears rolling down the cheek of a grown ass man and the chorus goes “he’s such a woman” oh yeah? Gender prefect. From past experiences, I feel it is okay to let you know the world won’t come crumbling down at your feet if you cry as a man. Of course society has made it their duty to cast aspersions on men who cry or people who cry publicly; this makes me weak to my knees.
Now tell me, how much more articles or poems needs to be written to make us understand that tears are not always a sign of weakness. From the little research I have done, tears helps to lubricate the eyes in response to an irritation of the eyes. Now if that’s too scientific to understand, I’ll break it down. Tears formed through crying are associated with STRONG internal emotions such as love, pleasure, sorrow, frustration, remorse, humor and a whole lot of other emotions we feel. It is important to note that crying is beneficial to our health and mental well-being, encouraging it positively.
These moments that cause us to choke up inside are some of the most important moments in our lives. For there are sometimes we go into deep thinking and we end up crying. Baby, it is no sign of weakness, its strength. For there are moments when pleasant news falls on our ears and in a minute our eyes becomes a mini pool, it is also fine. And most importantly, for times we feel so much hurt inside than we can handle, these drop of blessings came to our aid and we feel as if all of our lives burden is gone.
To some people, crying might be seen as undignified and infantile, but to me it is MAGIC. A blessing the almighty has bestowed on us to cleanse our soul. Like don’t you ever wonder how the darkest times of your life when you want to tear up is usually a good time to connect to your Lord? Don’t you feel safe crying to him without the fear of being judged and away from the prying eyes of society? Because really, if you haven’t tried crying to him for once you might not understand the relief that comes from letting it all out because there was never a time that I shamelessly cried out to him that I didn’t feel a lot better. Tears do not only wash away dirts from the eye, it purifies your heart.
So, cheers to the tears. To the tears that lifts the burden in our hearts when there’s no one to talk to, to the tears that comes to our aid as means of expression when we can’t find our voice and also to the tears that purifies our souls when all we want is just to feel at peace inside. Cheers to the Tears.
